Yukio Mishima was a Japanese author, poet, actor, model, film director and nationalist. Mishima wrote novels, serial novellas and many short stories and literary essays. Also, he is a founder of the Tatenokai, an unarmed civilian militia. Mishima is one of the most important Japanese authors of the 20th century. He is famous for his work such as “Confessions of a Mask”, “The Temple of the Golden Pavilion” and “Sun and Steel”.
