Robert Malcolm Sapp, born on September 22, 1973, is a versatile American athlete with a notable career in mixed martial arts (MMA), kickboxing, professional wrestling, and American football. Affiliated with Rizin Fighting Federation, Sapp, known in Japan as a gaijin tarento (foreign-born talent), has a 24–39–1 fight record, primarily in Japan. Standing at 6 ft 5 in and weighing 329 lb, he competes in the Super Heavyweight division.

Sapp played college football as a guard for the Washington Huskies, winning the Morris Trophy. Drafted by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 1997 NFL draft, he played one season with no game action before joining the Minnesota Vikings for two seasons, participating in one game.

Despite initial success, Sapp developed a reputation as a “tomato can” in MMA, kickboxing, and professional wrestling. His career spans from 2002 to 2014 and resumed in 2016.
